Tim Hyland - President
Tim is the President of Hyland, Block & Hyland and has built a significant clientele in both personal & commercial lines. Tim started in the insurance business in 1980 after teaching and coaching for 10 years. Additionally, Tim is responsible for the formation of American Advantage Agency Alliance (now known as Agents Helping Agents) in 1998 which has become the largest, independent agent organization in the states of Kentucky & Indiana.
Pat Hyland - Vice-President
Pat is the Vice-President and co-founder of Hyland, Block & Hyland. Pat specializes in personal lines insurance and is widely recognized as having one of the largest books of home & auto business in the state of Kentucky. Additionally, Pat provides both commercial insurance and life & health insurance to his client base.
Terry Hyland - CIC - Vice President
Terry started with Hyland, Block & Hyland in 1997 and now has become Vice President of Commercial Lines. He is a graduate of Bellarmine University where he received his degree in Business. Terry specializes in serving the insurance needs of business in the metro Louisville area. In 2004 Terry earned his CIC designation (Certified Insurance Counselor) which is a highly regarded achievement as an independent agent.
Bill Stiglitz - Account Executive
Bill began his insurance career in 1970 with Miller & Scholtz Insurance Agency. In 1992 he merged his agency with Hyland, Block & Hyland Insurance Group. Bill is a past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky, he served for seven years as the State National Director for Kentucky to the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America, is currently a member of the IIABA Executive Committee and is currently the immediate past president of IIABA . Bill has an established customer base in both commercial and personal insurance.
Mark Hyland - Financial Advisor/Planner
Mark Hyland is the director of our Financial Services Division, Hyland Financial Strategies. Mark has spent the majority of his professional career with the James Graham Brown Foundation, which at nearly $500 million is Kentucky's largest private foundation. He held the title of Executive Director and Treasurer when he left in December of 1997, after 15 years of service. Mark received his accounting degree from the University of Louisville in 1980 and his Master in Business Administration from Bellarmine University in 1990. He currently holds his Series 6, 26, 63, and 65 securities licenses. Mark adds value to our personal lines and business clients with specialized financial planning tailored to their particular needs.
Nathan joined Hyland, Block and Hyland in January 2006 after ten years with UPS. He is a Trinity High School graduate and earned a Justice Administration Degree at The University of Louisville in 1998. Nathan completed The Hartford School of Insurance and will specialize in Commercial Insurance. Nathan is married and is a former Umpire for High School, College and Professional Baseball.
David joined Hyland, Block and Hyland in January 2006. Subsequent to him coming on board with Hyland, he was in custom golf club sales at a local retail chain. David is a 1998 St. Xavier graduate and he earned his four year bachelor degree at Indiana University Southeast. He completed The Hartford School of Insurance in March of 2006 and will specialize in servicing the needs of businesses as well as personal clients in Metro Louisville and surrounding areas.
